Game Changer follows Nevet, an autistic filmmaker who learned to communicate with the world through video games. When an autism specialist suggests he move into assisted living, Nevet decides to prove he can build an independent life on his own terms, by making a series about the one place he has always felt understood.

He sets out to meet people whose lives were changed by gaming. Across very different worlds, he encounters gamers who use play to cope, connect, and find their place when they feel outside the mainstream. Between these meetings, we also follow Nevet’s own day to day fight for independence, and his relationship with Noa, his closest friend and creative partner, who documents his process from the inside.

Along the way, Nevet plays the games that helped his subjects survive and grow, and turns their stories into practical, emotional tools for his own life: healing from trauma, navigating social alienation, adapting to major change, and even opening himself to love through an online relationship with a fellow gamer.

From immigrants to LGBTQ+ creators, from people with disabilities to voices rarely centered on screen, the series shows how imagination and play can become both a lifeline and a community. Game Changer is not just for gamers. It is a human series about resilience and belonging, using gaming as the lens, not the destination.
