Hydropolis
IP-based Sci-Fi | Thriller | Coming-of-Age | Dystopia
6 x 50'
When the Earth’s surface becomes too toxic for human life, world leaders launch the Underwater Pioneer Program—an ambitious experiment to test life beneath the ocean. Officially, the chosen children are celebrated as heroes. In reality, they were selected because they are sick, expensive, and expendable.
Inside the domed city of Hydropolis, teens live under strict control: touch is restricted, silence is enforced, and history is forbidden. Surveillance is constant, and adult “Engineers” rule through ritual and psychological conditioning.
Emma, a solitary free-diving prodigy with a severe skin disorder, and Elek, a rebellious teen raised by two mothers, begin to question the system. As they uncover hidden messages and forbidden truths, they realize Hydropolis is not just an experiment in survival—but a test of obedience.
To escape, they must confront the sins of the surface, the silence of their families, and the devastating truth behind who gets to live—and who doesn't.
