Little Lies

The film centers on Bárbara, who, after being betrayed by her husband, struggles with love and self-esteem. Her best friend Eva and Eva’s husband Matías, whose marriage is also strained, decide to set her up with Julián — a handsome, smooth-talking man with a seemingly glittering life.

What begins as a well-intentioned setup becomes a comedic and suspenseful unmasking when Eva and Matías start noticing inconsistencies in Julián’s stories. Convinced he’s not who he appears to be, they initiate a lighthearted investigation to protect Bárbara from heartbreak — creating unintended collateral damage, especially to their own marriage. Through misunderstandings and emotional entanglements, Little Lies skillfully blends romantic comedy with thriller elements, delivering a witty, engaging, and ultimately heartwarming narrative.
