On screen, Akta has appeared in acclaimed films such as Noble Savage (nominated for Best Picture at the Ophir Awards), Antarctica, Miral, Fractures, and Runaway. On stage, she has performed at Israel’s National Theatre, Habima, earning recognition as one of the country’s most compelling performers.

Akta has also emerged as a creator and storyteller in her own right. She wrote and directed the short film The Mouse, which marked her debut behind the camera, and is the author of Flying in Time, further showcasing her ability to move fluidly between mediums.
