What happens when you leave a kid with one of the country’s most beloved comedian?
Pure chaos… followed by laughter, connection, and unforgettable moments.
The Babysitter pairs A-list comedians with exceptional kids (ages 8–10), each with a unique story or background. For one day, the comedian is left entirely in charge — following the child’s routine, exploring their world, cooking, helping with homework, and, hopefully, surviving bedtime.
Each episode is a self-contained story, blending humor with emotion, as two completely different people build a genuine bond in just a few hours.
These aren’t just any kids. They are special, inspiring, and full of surprises — a girl who rides motocross, a boy who performs opera, twin environmentalists, a child living on a boat, a farm girl raising wild animals, and more.
Each child brings a unique story and a world of their own. This is an inclusive, heartwarming format where every kid has the space to be seen, heard, and celebrated — just as they are.
One episode follows a boy with an amputated leg, bravely navigating the world with strength and joy. The Babysitter reminds us that every child has something powerful to share — and that magic happens when someone truly listens.
Their lives are different, their energy is contagious, and their openness invites comedians — and viewers — into a world of wonder.
