The Savior
Comedy
8 x 30'
For generations, God has tried to bring His Messiah to Earth… and every single time it’s ended the same way: another “chosen one” locked in a psych ward. Finally admitting He may have been choosing wrong, He decides to shake things up — this time, the Messiah will be a woman.

Enter Karen, a kleptomaniac musician from Los Angeles with a messy love life and zero saintly credentials. On her 30th birthday, she’s told she’s humanity’s last hope — and given divine powers with a long list of impossible commandments (including celibacy). The problem? Karen can’t keep a secret to save her life, let alone save the world.

Soon, she discovers four surviving “failed Messiahs” — a blues legend, a Russian maestro, a Taiwanese teacher, and an Aussie DJ — and together they form the strangest holy team imaginable. Between social media revelations, resurrecting the dead (accidentally), fending off devil worshippers, and raising a zombie-like army of “good-deed feeders,” Karen learns that being the Messiah is a full-time job… and maybe the funniest, craziest one ever.

The Savior is a sharp, irreverent comedy about faith, chaos, and what it really means to be chosen — when you’re anything but perfect.
