In the brutal world of rival soccer fan organizations, loyalty is everything. Trotsky, a devoted member of the Ultras HaPoel, finds his entire world collapsing after he inadvertently causes the stabbing of the group’s leader. Cast out by his surrogate family, he turns to his estranged younger cousin Danny, hoping to prove his loyalty by spying on their rivals, La Familia.
As the cousins grow closer, Trotsky begins to rediscover the true meaning of family. But when the leader dies and the Ultras demand revenge, Trotsky faces an unbearable truth: the real stabber was Danny.
Set against the backdrop of a police crackdown on hooliganism, Ultras is a gripping crime drama that dives into the hidden underworld of radical soccer fans. At its core, it’s a powerful story about brotherhood, betrayal, and the devastating cost of loyalty.

Rubi Shmilovich is a young Israeli filmmaker and producer, already known for his innovative work in both documentary and narrative formats. A graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem, Shmilovich has established himself as a versatile talent and gained recognition for his documentary "A Diplomat's Daughter" (2017), which explored complex family dynamics and cultural identity. Shmilovich's work often touches on themes of personal and societal transformation, as seen in his short film "Saving Omer" (2016).
David Beer
David Beer is a young innovative Israeli filmmaker who has made his mark by producing for the Jerusalem Film Festival for three consecutive years. Beer has rapidly ascended in the Israeli media landscape, currently developing a drama series for Yes, working for the "Ro'im Rahok" (Seeing Far) association, and contributing to Keshet's drama department.
