Co-production opportunity between Israel and France
Following the sudden death of her beloved father, Chloé's neat, upscale, restrained life gets chaotic when Tomer – a mannerless, penniless, shameless Israeli slob – appears at her doorstep claiming to be her brother. Is he really?

Very Bad French is a vibrant, high-concept comedy drama set in the refined world of Parisian high society. It follows Chloé, a sophisticated and tightly-wound Parisian woman, whose perfectly curated life is thrown into disarray when Tomer, a loud, messy, and unfiltered Israeli, suddenly shows up claiming to be her half-brother.

Tomer crashes into her world like a human wrecking ball—bringing chaos, absurdity, and uncomfortable truths. His presence not only disrupts her career, relationship, and daily routine, but forces Chloé to confront who she really is beneath the polish.

Through culture clashes, emotional twists, and unexpected revelations, Very Bad French explores the contradictions that make us human—between class and chaos, appearances and authenticity, identity and inheritance. It’s funny, sharp, messy, and moving.
